From the philippines we flew right off to Vietnam, and made a great adventure of it as well. Tried many things and experienced our first vacation together!
A year in the Philippines
I actually cannot believe that I went to visit you in the philippines for a whole year, had so much fun but also hard times, getting used to living together, it wasnt easy but we were able to work through it together!
Our first meeting
The first story of our meeting was quite crazy. A full trip planned together with my parents for me to go to the Philippines and meet you there, have some time with the family and then whisk you away on a round trip where we would see the Chocolate hills of Bohol and other attractions all tourists see.
We bought mystery boxes
We ended up buying some mystery boxes at a food court in Hong Kong, inside the Dragon centre. We saw these vending machines for a few days and finally decided that we should buy one. It was ofcourse very exciting since you could win an iPad or other expensive things so we bought two, one for J and for me. But it ended up being a heating pad for mugs and a cheaply made wind up rat. Luckily just opening them was most of the fun for us. And I would definitely do it again!
We went drinking together for the first time
We went out to Victoria’s harbor, and as it turns out there was a small sports festival going on. We went in and played some sports together, including Archery (which J rocked at somehow) and just had a good time relaxing together, we also bought an icecream scoop in a bag which was something I had never seen. After we relaxed together and in the evening we bought some food and drinks, and listened to someone playing songs nearby. I might have underestimated the Long Island Ice Tea a little bit. But I am glad she was there with me and she helped me as I bumbled along like a drunk haha. Those are some of my fondest memories.
